Nine Months...

Well, the time has come (finally) and I am officially Nine Months pregnant today 2.21.10. You never realize until you are pregnant that you are pregnant for 10 months (40 weeks). I packed my hospital bag today, so now of course since I am ready to go anytime, I will be the one to go past the due date and be even more miserable. Tad and I are anxious and excited and of course terrified all at one time, but we are up for the challenge and ready whenever Baby T is! Here is a picture of me and T at 9 months.

Last night we were having dinner at Perkins... for some reason I wanted their chicken strips and honey mustard. I have to say they have the best honey mustard around... so we received our bill and Tad looks at it and says, our waitress' name is Taryn... I asked him, how is it spelled and he says Terran... I prefer Taryn.. but I said to him, IT's A SIGN!! For those of you that don't know, Taryn is a top 3 girl name for us (me)and I strongly believe that it was a sign. So, bye for now, I will keep you all posted of the progress...

Take care and be safe,
Tad, Tiff and T

Catch Up...

Hello everyone, I know it's been over a month since I've blogged... terrible of me. I just thought since I have sometime this morning I would catch everyone up on whats been happening at the Marschall Manor. Here we are 43 days from due date and my weeks are going from appointment to appointment.

December 27th was the beginning of the lower back pain that I was having for a month. I have been seeing a Chiropractor for over a month now and he has got me back to feeling great... well great as great can be being 8 1/2 months pregnant. All I can say is that I can walk fast and go up and down stairs without dreading all three.

January 14th was the start of my weekly Bio Physical Profile Ultrasounds at the hospital. I have to have these weekly due to my Hypertension (High Blood Pressure not induced by pregnancy). With these ultrasounds they measure 4 things, Movement, Limb Extension (motor), Fluid and Breathing. The first three weeks I passed with eights (2 points per item). Last week (Feb 4th) was a little interesting. After 30 minutes (they time the visit also, learned that last week) the ultrasound technician couldn't monitor any breathing from the baby... well duh.. the baby's in a sack of fluid.. but what do I know. So since she couldn't see the baby breathing they sent us upstairs (maternity floor) for a Stress Test. As if there being something "wrong" with the baby wasn't stressful enough. Hello, high blood pressure.. They hooked us up to the Fetal monitor, which in my opinion is WAY cooler than the ultrasound, because we could hear the baby moving and the heartbeat the whole time. Very surreal. The minute they hooked us up, the Nurse said, Oh, yeah, this baby is fine.. So after a half hour of monitoring we were sent home. Baby is doing great! 6 weeks left tomorrow!

I thought I would put some ultrasound pictures up for everyone to see, these are pretty cool... the technicicans and I are besties as I see them weekly, so they give me tons of pictures!

This picture is at 31 weeks when the baby was Breach and they got a clear shot of the top of the baby's head and all that white stuff is HAIR! So needless to say the heartburn has been happening for a reason!

Hope this finds you all well and surviving the weather!
Lots of Love Tad, Tiff and T
