MN River Fall Flood

Thanks to the 10" of rain last week it has pushed the rivers in MN into flood stage. These are some pictures of the Scenic Byway Highway just north of Belle Plaine.  Belle Plaine river bridge Hwy 25 is the only river crossing open in the entire south metro, besides 169 in Bloomington... Busy, Busy, Busy.

Lucky Number Seven

It's hard to believe that my baby is 7 months (yesterday). She is growing so fast. Eating solid foods (sorta) for those of you that know me, know that my BIGGEST fear is choking, and the switch to solid foods wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. We have since moved onto level 2 foods... apparently the only difference is the consistency.. who knew? I thought it had something to do with the allergy thing, but apparently not. Anyways, she is doing great with foods, trying to sit up on her own, she's good for short periods of time while she's supervised. She's still sleeping through the night (since April) and this mom is LOVING her time at home with her during the interim... Here she is at 7 months!

Birthday Boat Ride

In honor of Tad-2nd, Sharon-18th, Karen-18th, Josh-16th and Jason-16th all turning 30 in September we decided to do something special. We rented a pontoon on Minnetonka for 6 hours and had a wonderful time! It was way cold, but it could have been way worse and when the sun was out we were all loving it! Thanks for a great time yesterday everyone!

Here is my little Pea Pod... she has such a serious stare when she gets tired... notice her uneven fuzzy hair growing in. I am happy it's growing, so I'm not complaining.

PS - She loves being home with mom full time! (for the time being..) and mom loves being with her!

Welcome to my new Marschall Manor!
